What services does Golden Hands provide?
Golden Hands offers residential elder care with 24/7 trained caregivers, on-call doctors, medication and hygiene support, psychologist sessions, nutritious meals, social activities, and optional physiotherapy and excursions.
What is the admission process like?
We begin with a free consultation call, followed by a pre-admission assessment. If suitable and space is available, a care plan is developed and rooms are allocated. A non-refundable documentation fee is applicable
Is there a minimum age for admission?
No, there is no minimum age. While most residents are seniors, we also care for adults with medical or support needs.The cost of Independent Living varies by many factors including the location and the services and amenities provided. Many of the costs are included in rent, making budgeting for monthly expenses easier. Compared to other lifestyle options, Independent Living is usually cheaper than assisted living.
Can I visit the facility before making a decision?
Yes! We encourage guardians to book a free on-site visit to meet our team and tour the premises.
Is there a waiting list?
We do not operate a general waiting list. Admission is only offered after a pre-assessment and if a suitable room is available at that time

How much does it cost per month?
Rates start at LKR 130,000 per month and vary based on room type and care level. This includes accommodation, meals, medical oversight, and engagement activities.
Are there any upfront or hidden fees?
A LKR 100,000 non-refundable processing and documentation fee is charged upon admission. Any extras like diapers, medication, or A/C usage are added transparently to your monthly invoice.
How can payments be made?
Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash, or cheque. Monthly fees are due on the 1st of each month.

Do you provide memory care or support for dementia?
Yes. We support residents with dementia through specialized activities, gentle routines, and trained staff who understand memory loss and behavioral care.
What happens in case of a medical emergency?
Our team will immediately provide first-response care and arrange transport to a registered hospital while alerting emergency contacts. The resident will be transferred to the nearest hospital if required, and our team will coordinate care
What kind of activities are offered?
From garden walks and temple visits to games, music, and crafts, our calendar is filled with joyful, therapeutic, and inclusive activities.
Can residents bring personal belongings or furniture?
Yes. Personal items such as photos, cushions, or small furnishings are encouraged to make their room feel like home — as long as safety and mobility aren’t compromised.
